Contract Secretary Position
Central Baptist Academy is accepting resumes for consideration of an in-person, full-time school secretary. This is a one year contract position starting in June 2024 until June 2025. The school secretary performs an essential role in the smooth operation of the school and provides key support services to all the stakeholders including staff, students and parents. If you love the Lord, are committed to Christian education, and have great communication and administrative skills, we would like to hear from you.
Requirements:
- Personal relationship with the Lord
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience in Office Word, Excel, Canva, and standard office equipment
- Maintain databases
- Update student and staff records
- Experience in maintaining financial records including A/R and A/P
- Confident, problem solver, detail oriented, enthusiastic

Central Baptist Academy Brantford is accepting resumes for consideration regarding an in-person, full-time teaching position for the September 2024/2025 school year. If you love the Lord, have a love for children, appropriate teacher training, classroom teaching experience, and are committed to Christian education then we want to meet you.
Requirements: – Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field – Valid teaching certification or license for elementary education preferred – Knowledge of current educational practices and research-based instructional strategies – Strong communication and interpersonal skills – Ability to establish positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues – Patience, flexibility, and a passion for working with children – Ability to create a safe and supportive learning environment

Supply Teachers
We are always in need of qualified and passionate supply teachers who could step in when our staff teachers are absent due to illness or other reasons.
Requirements:
- Current registration with the Ontario College of Teachers (preferred) or relevant experience
- Current Vulnerable Sector Screening (VSS)
- Availability to teach on short notice
- Flexibility to teach various grade levels and subjects

Volunteering provides an opportunity for parents and family members to be involved in the day-to-day activities of the school as well as in special events that enrich student life.
